Hi everybody!
Today I will talk about the changes that I would like to do to my study program.Because I am just in the second year of my career I could not talk much about all of the subjects that are include in my study program. So far, I would like to change some courses. Firstly, about the first year, I would like to delete the transversal course of "Leer y escribir en Ciencias Sociales", because in my personal experience it did not help to develop those skills and it only waste time for my anthropologist courses. Secondly, I would like to change the teacher and the course of Social science philosophy and I would like to have the course of epistemology that is impart in Bachillerato by Carlos Perez Soto. Thirdly, about the second semester, I think that the course of "Formación de la Sociedad Chilena" must go on in the second year, because I think that the semester is does not enough for all the contents that are involved. Finally, in general terms of the career, I think that is absolutely necessary to have more courses of ethnography because is the main way of working of the anthropologist.
In terms of worklong and length of studies, I would like to reduce the reading in some subjects, because I think that is too much and the most part of people do not achieves to read everything, because we have tests and practice work.
About the teaching methods, particularly I would reduce the workgroup and the evaluation method in "Problemas Contemporaneos de la antropología", because I think that is good to have workgoup but to a certain limit.

Post 8 : Opinions
Hi everyone!
In the controversial context that we are living, I want to express my opinion about some polemics topics. First of all, I want to talk about the immigration situation in Chile. Recently, a rising tide of Colombian, Haitians, Dominican and Venezuelan people Immigrants in Chile are living very precarious conditions. A big part of the Chilean people marginalize them and take advantage of its risks situations, hiring them with extremely low salaries. The Chilean state has not implemented public politics that consider their welfare. Quite the reverse; for example now, the Supreme Court ordered the expulsion of migrants families with Chilean children.
Moving on, I would like to talk about tattoos. Many people have prejudices about them. Personally, I like tattoos and I would like to have one. I think that they are fine as long as they are made in hygienic conditions, that is to say, with a new needle in a clean room. In aesthetic terms, I think that it is very personal. Everyone can do what they want with their body.
On another note, I would like to talk about animal testing. Animal testing is very violent for me because I considered them living creatures that deserve respect, care, and consideration. I think that this practice is an expression of the anthropocentric world that we have installed, with bulldozer logics that only considered the possible benefits for humans. Also, many times, animal testing doesn't fulfill the appropriate conditions that are required. In short, I do not agree with that practice because I think that most of the time it harms the welfare of the animals.
Finally, I would like to talk about the Chilean tradition called mechoneo. Mechoneo, for me, is a bad practice that many times can be violent. Cut and dirty clothes with flour, paint and death animals can be unpleasant and intimidating. Instead of that, the university year has to start with entertaining activities that serve to meet people and create confidence.

Post 7: Tv series
Hello everybody!
Today I will talk about my favorite series. Actually, I just finished Sex Education and now I am watching Gossip Girl. Although, my favorite one is Merli. Merli is a Catalan production realized in 2015. It is about a philosophy teacher called Merli Bergeron that is hired as a replacement in a public school of Barcelona called "Angel Guimera". The story shows how Merli with his creatives learning methods surprise and delight the students of the "Ángle Guimera". Along the series, Merli knows the students and their lives and build close relations between them. I really liked Merli for several reasons. First of all, because the characters are very nice. All of them are very different and passionate. Secondly, because it shows teenage dramas that are related to my reality of a nineteen woman, so I can feel identify with them. And thirdly because I really like philosophy and that makes the series very entertaining for me, because every single chapter Merli, in his classes, talks about a new philosopher like Platon, Schopenhauer or Hegel.
Talking in general, I like different kinds of series. I like adventures series like Vikings, drama series and comedy series like friends. Now for me is very important that the series that I watch can distract myself of university issues.
A series that I would like to see is Game of Thrones, but the problems is that requires a lot of time because its chapters are very long, and I am very busy this semester.

Post 6: Postgraduates studies
Hello everybody!
Today I will talk about a postgraduate course that I would like to do. For the purpose of complement the knowledge gained in social anthropology, I would like to study something related with archeology and thus be able to analize the society from materiality. For that reason I would like to take the doctorate of Archeology with mention of Andean studies in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. That topic is very important for me because i think that it allows us to understand our origins and development as a society. About where I would like to study, I choose Peru, because it is country with many cultures and archaeological sitesors. Specifically because in Perú is located Chavin de Huantar an Andean site that interest me very much because it shows the power logicas that existed back then through it maintained architecture. Related with that I would like to have subjects that approach the social dynamics in the past, the origin of the state and the institutional inequality that caused. Also I would like to have subjects of etnoarchaeology and of excation techniques.
In practical terms, I would like to have prssencial clases and seized the opportunity of know Perú and its people. In addition I would like to have a part-time course, because I want to work and solve my stay in the country.

My future job
Hello everybody
Thinking about my future work is something very difficullt to me because I like many things. The only thing that I am sure is that I would like to work as a social anthropology or as an archeology. I like those jobs because both are related with culture and with the socials patterns that define us as the society that we are. Personally I could not work in an office or in other indoor place, so I would like to travel around the world and learning about the differents cultures and its realities. Related with that, it is very important to me sharing with people of the culture or of the collective that I am studying, because I consider the experience as a fundamental part of knowledge.
Indeed, I would like to work with a dissident or marginal group that fight for its socials rights against the prevailing system. Particulary I would like to work in critic medical anthropology questioning the medical dynamics, especially those related with psiquiatry, working with groups that had been severaly harmed and stigmatized because of its logics.
Also, another thing that I would like to do, is work with audiovisual resources because I think that is a ver good way to show and being aware of social problems.
Talking about tha salary, the only think that I would like is being independent and having economic stability.

My favorite movie
I love movies. My favorite one is Howl's moving Castle. It is a japanese movie directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film is about a young girl called Sophie that is cursed by a witch, becoming an old woman of ninety. In order to break the curse, she travels aground the country and she meet Nabo, a friendly scarecrow. Nabo takes Sophie to the moving castle of Howl, a powerful magician. Inside of the castle she meet Howl and many other peculiar characters and has a lot of adventures. First of all, because in visual terms it has a very attractive stetic with many colors and very good draws. Secondly, even though it is a slow film, the plot is very emotive and catchy and thirdly because of its greats soundtracks composed by Joe Hisaishi.
Besides of Howls moving Castle I like many other films of different kinds. I like realistic movies, drama films and documentaries with historic content. For example I really liked El Botón de Nacar, that Mala Junta, Requiem for a Dream.
The last movie that I saw is ¡Átame! of Pedro Almodóvar.It is about a young man that just got out of pshychiatric and kidnap a famous porn actress. I like it very much because it recovers marginal characters with a very interesting script. Also the stetic is very awesome with excellent scenes.

The best concert ever!
The best concert I have ever been was the concert of Roger Waters. Roger is one of the singers and the bass player of Pink Floyd. Also he composed many famous songs of the band like Another Brick in the Wall, Dogs, Echoes, etc. I loved Pink Floyd since I was thirteen, so its songs are very special for me. The concert was on 14 November of 2018 in the Estadio Nacional. I was going with a very close friend and with my boyfriend but sadly he couldn´t make it because the ticket that he bought was false. However, the concert was a great experience for me. It started with Breath, a song that I like very much, so it was a very exciting beggining. The atmosphere was incredible. The people that was there sang all the songs that Roger played. It was emotive for me, because I had listened those songs for a long time but never in a live experience. I clearly remember that it had a great visual performance with the pig of Animals flying above the stage. It was absolutely awesome.

Mexico
Hello everybody!
Today I am going to talk about a journey that I would like to do.
I would like to visit Mexico. First of all, I chose it because I am very interest in Latin American countries and the social patterns that exist there.The aspects of that country that caught my attention are the legacies of the Olmeca and Maya civilization, like the piramyds, and the political situation of the state of Chiapas. Chiapas is a sobreign state where many mesoamerican cultures develelop. For that reason, it has importants archeologicals sites. Also I am very interested in the Zapatista Army for National Liberation and its origins that emerge in this place. Related to that, I would like to study anthropology in that country, because it is known that México has a very rich cultural heritage and very good universities that impart that career, like the UNAM. Specifically, I would like to study the origins of the states in the American continent and I think that Mexico is ideal

Dangers in the net
Let`s talk about social media. It is very important to know the risks that you are exposed to when you are engaging with it. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are very entertaining but are also dangerous. This danger is because strangers can see ones personal information and use it against individuals for their benefit. In my experience, I constantly use Facebook, but I am still very careful because companies can see my photos and video calls, and also record them. Additionally, all users are exposed to a potential "Identity Theft" and to threats made with the information that you published on the net. For those reasons, I think that you can give some personal information to some websites and social media, but never anything too private. We have to be aware of the serious problems that may occur.
